What to look for in a disposable vape
Puff ratings are lab estimates
A puff count is measured with short, machine-timed draws on the lowest setting. Long draws or Boost modes use e-liquid faster. Compare devices by e-liquid volume (mL) and battery (mAh) as well as puffs.
Modes change the experience
Devices with hardware mode switching (Beast Mode Max 2, Alpha 80K, Drip'n EVO) physically change between a single and a dual mesh coil. That is a bigger difference than a wattage tweak: more vapour and flavour, at the cost of runtime.
Rechargeable means the tank is the limit
Every device on this list recharges over USB-C. You will run out of e-liquid, not battery, so the mAh figure mostly tells you how often you will plug in.
Nicotine is capped at 20mg/mL in Canada
Federal law limits vaping products to 20mg/mL. Most disposables are sold at that strength; a growing number offer 10mg, 12mg or 0mg. If a listing anywhere claims 50mg, it is not a legal Canadian product.
